HP On-board Administrator Recovery Procedure

Note: In my previous article, I have documented the steps to back up the HP OA module. Please refer to this link for steps. (You might be interested in Technical Document Review Check List)

Following steps outlines the steps to recover HP OA from backup copy.

1.    Access the active HP Onboard administrator IP from browser

2.    Log in with administrator credentials

3.    Navigate to “Enclosure Information - Enclosure Settings- Configuration Scripts” in the left pane of the console

4.    In the right pane, select “browse” and navigate to the configuration files saved during the backup and click on “upload” to restore OA configuration

After the restore, make sure that enclosure configuration and inventory is updated.
