Horizon View Connection Server Errors

I had a strange issue on the connection server. After long troubleshooting and trying to understand JMS and tomcat errors, I managed to fix the issue with the following instructions.

Symptoms:

-          All View connection server services are up and running.

-          But can’t connect to view connection server from the browser.

-          Number of errors in VDM logs (C:\ProgramData\VMware\VDM\logs\logs_date – Hidden folder) as below – After resolution section.
Note: If you are looking for an alternate solution to events database to log events, refer to " Horizon View events to syslog server or local/ network file share)

Resolution:

Issue resolved by executing the following steps:

-          Uninstall primary view connection server from control panel  – DO NOT uninstall “AD LDS Instance VMWare VDMDS” as it holds View ADAM database

-          Re-install connection server after rebooting server. It has fixed my issue.

If nothing helps, try removing and re-adding the View Connection or Security server from the farm.
